2019 marked 100 years since Lady Astor was voted to serve as Britain’s first female MP.
In 2019 I was privileged to attend and film the unveiling of the Nancy Astor statue outside her home in Plymouth.
The event featured a number of high profile guests including the current Lord and Lady Astor, former Prime Minister Theresa May, current Prime Minister Boris Johnson, many members of the Houses of Commons and Lords, Olympic athletes, and historians.
